Last weekend we took a little trip South. Brett got us tickets to Gary Morris. Most people don't know who Gary is, and I have to admit that I didn't until I met Brett. He is a singer with an AMAZING voice. Brett first saw Gary 18 years ago when his parents took him to California to see Les Miserables. Gary played John ValJean, the main character in the musical. He has loved Gary's music for as long as I have know him, so it was just a given that we would be going when he was coming this close. We invited Jean(my mother in law) to go with us and I am so glad she decided to come with us. We had a great time! I took some pics during the concert, but I had my cheap portable camera so they didn't turn out. Here are a few that did. Oh and by the way, I am now doing a watermark on my pics that I post on my blog. No--It's not because I think I take wonderful pictures and don't want people to steal them. Since my blog is not private, I decided I at least need to protect those I take photos of by watermarking. I've been hearing some scary stories so I thought I may need to take some preventive measures.
Gary was so gracious after the show to come and and sign autographs and let people take pics with him. Believe it or not, this is one picture I didn't have to bribe my hubby to let me take. He jumped right in there for this one. Wish I could get that response more often!
