I have been thinking alot lately about how lucky I am to live so close to the temple. I know I take for granted the fact that I live just minutes from the closest temple, and yet the blessings and peace that can come into our lives from attending the temple are countless. The week before we left town on vacation I was able to go the the temple twice, and it was wonderful. I was able to go to basptisms for the dead with the youth, and then later in the week I went with a couple of the women I serve in YW's with and we did inititory work. I hadn't done inititory work since I went thru for myself and I was so glad I did it again. The blessings and promises are AWESOME! I also believe in the peace and answers to prayer that comes from attending the temple.
Then yesterday we were able to go again for the marriage of my nephew Erin. It was a beautiful ceramony, and I am so glad I was able to be there. Erin and Amber were married in the same room in the temple that Brett and I were, so it brought back a ton of memories! I am feeling old now that I have two married nephews. Time goes by so fast! We are so excited for Amber and Erin and wish them the best of luck in their new life together!
