I can't believe tomorrow is Brock's graduation. For those of you who don't know, he is my younger brother. He is also one of my babies. I practically raised Brock and Amber when I was a teenager, so I have been quite often referred to as their second mother. Brock was a great sport and let me take a few (...okay so maybe 340 is more than a few) senior pics of him. Don't you just love those red curls? Anyway-- here is a little message for him:To My Baby Brother:
It seems like yesterday when I was changing you diapers, styling your crazy curly hair, sneaking bites of your cherry vanilla pudding baby food when mom wasn't watching, and dressing you up in all sorts of outfits. I can't believe how fast time flies. I know sometimes I complained about having to babysit you all of the time, but now looking back I am so thankful for all that you taught me and for having the chance to spend so much time taking care of you. You were so full of energy and so wild~ You keep me on my toes! Now you are all grown up and not so little anymore. I am so proud of all you have achieved. Congratulations on your scholarship and new job! I know you will go far. You are such a hard worker anyone will be lucky to have you. Good Luck on you future! Always remember you have a big sis who loves you and is SO proud of you!!

What a sweet tribute to him! And I love the photos! You did a great job! What a good sister you must've been. I'm sure he's proud to have you as his "second mother", setting such a wonderful example for him. =)
ReplyDeleteI seriously can't believe he's that old! It seems that we were both just barely babysitting our siblings all the time- and now look at us... old! haha! You did an awesome job with his pics. I'm glad you enjoyed your holiday weekend. 3 day weekends are the best!
