I love holiday weekends! I feel like we have gotten so much accomplished the last two weekends and it has been the perfect weather. It all started last weekend. We had some more curbing done around the yard. Then due to that we had to bring in more DiRt! I have been begging Brett for the last couple of years for a BIGGER garden. This year he gave in and we are extending the garden area. It's still not going to be a big as I would like, but I'll keep begging. Anyway that is another reason we had to bring in dirt. After we got all the dirt unloaded, we decided to get a load of bark. In the middle of all that I planted ALL my flowers. We were outside working for over 9 hours and I loved it!! I love being outside!! This weekend we got the garden planted! Yeah! We were also able to visit the cemetery. I love going on Memorial Day weekend and seeing all the flowers. It it also good to take a few moments to remember those loved ones who we have lost. All in all it was a great weekend! I hope everyone else enjoyed theirs as much as I did!

ReplyDeleteHey there girlie! I miss hearing about your fabulous tomatoes, homemade salsa, and the nights grilling chicken on the grill. I am glad you guys are doing well. Good luck on your pioneer trek- that will be a neat experience! The sewing projects turned out very well ;)
